Summary:
This presentation will focus on how to differentiate a picky eater from a restrictive eater, potential causes, red flags and ethical concerns to assist in talking points to parents, and practical behavioral strategies to implement with your clients.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to identify practical behavioral strategies for feeding.
  2. Participants will be able to identify ethical concerns and rule outs needed prior to implementation of feeding protocols.
  3. Participants will identify the observable differences between picky eating and restrictive eating, and how to use this information to determine appropriate next steps for assessment and intervention planning.
