Summary:
This collaborative presentation and discussion will focus on the vast field of Physical Therapy and its contribution to the medical community. Today’s analysis will concentrate the broad doctorate profession to the specialty population of Pediatrics. Covered topics include an overview of physical therapy, rehabilitation vs habilitation, commonly used terminology, evaluation, examination and assessment techniques, devising an effective plan of care, implementing intervention, and collaboration amongst other disciplines to provide comprehensive medical care to children with special needs.
This informal presentation welcomes an open ended conversation with the goal of successfully coordinating care between physical therapists and applied behavioral analysts.
